So what is the Congressman doing about it?
Are you familiar with the separation of powers in our country? Who, exactly, would the Congressman be able to direct to do anything about this?

Iran? why would anyone believe that?
What a transparent yet strange way to trick people into supporting war.

What do Sweden and New Zealand have to do with this subject? Are you retarded or just lying?

does anyone actually think there would be an iranian ship launching drones from the east coast into the US and it not be blown up by now?
From a grunts POV (warfighting is warfighting) there are actually legitimate reasons to watch your enemy as they probe your defenses, at least as long as they don't know you know they are there. As long as they aren't doing recon by fire where you may need to impose your will on the sorry bastards you can gain a lot of actionable intelligence by watching them snoop and poop. For example, where the are probing gives you insight into where they may attack and what kind of forces they will be using. In infantry terms if they are probing up a creek bed then you know where to fortify defenses and you can expect only infantry, if it is a 100m wide wadi then you need to prepare for technicals and armor if they have it. It lets you know where and how much effort you need to spend on that area to adequately defend it.
You lose all that advantage when you start yelling at them and shooting them. This may be smart if there is every reason to believe you have equal or inferior levels of force but if you are in the position of significant strength drawing them into what is now a trap when they expect a weakness is advantageous.
Even when people were talking about the drones but it got no givernmental acknowledgment it could lead Iran (or whomever) into a false sense of security and add defenses to thwart efforts at those targets. Announce to the world "we see you" and that advantage disappears, they will change their probing tactics and targets and you may miss them next time.
TLDR quietly watching intelligence gathering by an opponent often does more good than shooting them and giving up that potential advantage. You win conflicts by logistics first, intelligence second, and pulling triggers third.

More BS from a congressman. Don't believe any of it.

I'd bet he's full of shite about it truly being Iran. Seems like there's no way the military complex would allow that to happen.
They allowed those balloons until public outcry caused them to act.
There is no mothership here, but our own govt is fairly pussified when it comes to these things.

Amazing how many people on this board will believe this, without any further proof. If this is true, there should be plenty of evidence. Not saying that there is not one central source for these drones, but Iran?...and a mothership?

When your government is not transparent and incompetent, everything is a possibility.
If the govt doesnt want "disinformation" they need to talk to the people.

Isn't this situation why we have Delta and SEAL teams?
