I interviewed with those guys right after Katrina. The guy took me to lunch on the West Bank to one of the few places in the NOLA area that was open. He pitched me on the great benefits they had and how I could "be a part of rebuilding something". Never once mentioned salary/rate. I sort of brought the topic up on the ride back and was told "well, we can discuss that later". Sent up a huge red flag. They called me back a couple of times, but I had a job, so I politely declined.
