THIS - Remember when the casino money was going to be used to fix the education system and roads.
Truer words were never spoken, and it’s the same lie politicians throw around when they want new taxes approved. Bunch of liars, the lot of them.

Personally, I think more people should be bent out of shape over restrictions enforced upon us, especially when we’re broke as fuc
Our state can make a TON more money just by enforcing the speed limit in school zones than it could by skimming off the top of sports betting. Do you support that?

Wait, you think the casinos lobbied against sports betting?
Casinos lobbied against La’Berge putting a new boat in Baton Rouge. Things can be complex.

Just because it can be taxed doesn't mean the government will spend wisely. It's the same thing for these "legalize it and tax the shite out it" idiots re weed

Mississippi made a killing on sports betting this weekend. But because Bible we miss out.

Yes, several casinos lobbied against the most successful casino expanding.
That is a far cry from casinos lobbying against sports betting. The Louisiana casinos did not lobby against sports betting.

Because the people who elected them don't want it legalized. Do you even understand how government works. Or is supposed to work?
Clearly you don’t understand how republics work.

Ifyou are that fricking bent out shape about it move to Mississippi.
Problem solved.
Some people will bitch about any damn thing.
Way to bitch and get bent out of shape over it! That'll teach him!
