your typical DR Horton neighborhood.
OP just said they were slumming it here-- like it was his maids home he was camping in waiting on his mansion to get an "S" Thurston Howell/Romney car elevator

My friend recently sold over 300.locations for 160M...
They absolutely get that tip, delivery fee is different and does not go all to driver.
She was hustling you and you should call the location. Gives them a bad name and stops repeat business.
Many times, since you ran a card, they will deduct 2% of the tip for fees.

We have a thread like this once a month.

I always ask this question and it never gets answered: Why do some of you feel that a person should use their car, their gas, and pay for the upkeep of the vehicle; and yet bring you delivery for next to nothing?

OP: You should have calmly asked if she desired a bigger tip...then exposed yourself.

Worst case: castration
Best case: front door fellatio

When my son was 18, he delivered for Dominoes. This is a piece of what is not considered.

Dominoes pays $11 an hour. When a person gets a tip, that tip counts against the $11 guarantee until it goes over.

In a peak shift, he'd drive 3 hours. For the rest of his 8-hour shift, he'd be washing dishes, making boxes, etc.

Don't be pissed at a driver, the company is the one jacking up the delivery charges for profit

That is the job they signed up for, they are paid for that job and they receive a tip. What's the problem.

They don't expect people to not tip, that's for sure. The company advertises that you will make much more than $11 an hour

Don't be Karen Marsh

I always try and tip cash but sometimes you don't have cash. If they don't give her the tip money she got then she needs to handle that with them !

You sound like that slumlord who went out of his way to buy a used washer off marketplace. Only to be scammed by the seller and his mother.

Next time, don't tip on the bill, but give it to the actual driver.

Depends.

If it's something like UberEats they get 100% of the tip minus tax.

If it's a delivery driver specific to the store they may have a system similar to what many restaurants do w/waiters where they have to split the tip w/everyone working the store that night.
