bring it to me, I will replace it. I would not trust any store in this town to even put a grip on.

idk what the place is on seigen a little further down from caddyshack, but they will rip you off so bad. they will tell you one price, then you come back to pay and pick up, and they have tacked on like 4 different "fees" and double the price. it happened to me there twice. haven't been back since. i hope they have shut down.

If you have a custom Scotty, send it back to Scotty and let them do it for you. Might cost more but it will be worth it.

This.

I have a custom fit Scotty Newport 2.5 and I broke the shaft over my knee once (bad day ). I can and have done my own club repair in the past, but I let them handle this. It was more $$ but it came back perfect and they even refurbished it a little, put new scotty grip on, etc.

And for custom SC's it is totally worth it to me. I have my putter shaft bent a little and I really am not comfortable messing with the glue in the nozzle of a SC. They did it perfectly (obviously)

ETA:

They had my measurements on file too, so all I had to do was give my information and they replicated it perfectly.

say baw, It was given to me because the person who originally owned it IS an OT baller. They decided to move on to a custom Bettinardi, and gave this beautiful poor BENT piece of artwork to the nice young guy down the street.

Just get rid of it and get an odyssey white ice 2 and drain putts. What's the problem?

Das purdy, but it is no better than an odyssey white ice 2 for making putts. But if you gonna putt with that thing, you better make damn sure you are putting well.
