Why would he take that out of his booksack and deliberately plug it in while in a class that had nothing to do with science (after he was told by another teacher that it looks like a bomb and it might scare people)?

This kid has likely served this country more than you. Obama recognized his service and appropriately invited him to the white house. Without his courage in this whole ordeal the intolerances wouldn't have been brought to center stage.

It was pretty obvious the invention was not built for this purpose. But when everything blew up he stepped up to the challenge. Again, this kind of courage got him a trip to the white house.
