Doesn't seem insane given the increasing number of extreme rain events associated with hurricanes we have seen in recent years.

But doesn’t more moisture produce more clouds which produces more rain which actually cools the earth and produces lower temps? Ice age here we come!

The climate is becoming more temperate. See the last post on the first page for the explanation.
