I've only seen one wolf up close and personal and that was a Grey. B/c it was my moms pet and there no way in hell you'd mistake that for a dog.. He was frickin massive.

It's definitely not a coyote, but it might be a husky?

I'm gonna put my money on coyote. I've seen them in Central, so I know that they are in the area.

What area of city park? There is a Wolf/ shepherd mix that's been around the college town/ LSU ave. area for years. As the story goes he is off some cross breeding etc at Angola. Very interesting animal, curious if anyone in the area has any more background on him

Coyote's are pussies, most decent size dogs would easily take a coyote 1 on 1. The only time a coyote would possibly get the advantage would be when they are running in a pack.

I've seen him in a couple spots. Once, he was crossing Park near the Dog Park around 1:00am.

Last night, he was in that little parking area between the southern tip of the golf course and the lake around 10:30ish

I've also seen him on that road that runs on the east side of the golf course.
