Not saying they arent good, just way overrated

Yep, Boulder especially. Not a bad place to live but not the utopia people imagine. And expensive as hell and run by idiots. There are many better places.

Houston and New Orleans are so polarizing I don't think they belong in this thread

Austin. Family lives there and I've visited many times over 27 years. Killer barbecue, but the rest of the place is a huge suburb, which of itself isn't bad, but it's not the cool mecca some seem to think.

I 2nd New Orleans. Been there several times and to me it is a shithole.
It's definitely part shithole, but several times isn't enough to appreciate everything there is to do while living in a bedroom community..

OT hates Florida but will go militant if someone insults Disney.

I don't get the appeal of Nashville at all.

-Town that builds and brands itself off horrendous music.
-Horrible architecture with no character (rust belt meets hodgepodge, cookie cutter town homes).
-Town that isn't that scenic (very few hills, located on a dirty river, and a dirty lake).
-Town with very little food and drink presence compared to comparable cities.

not to mention it's landlocked.

austin's popularity is crazy to me. you're paying big city money to live around a bunch of freaks in the middle of texas.

I lived in Laffy. Whoever is over rating it should be in intensive therapy.

I think the people there even admit the cool freak thing is gone with the crush of people the last few years. Now, it's just basically an expensive California tech suburb with better food. That place has some serious traffic hell.

All of these...

St. Pete is a dump. My sister lives there. We get a Christmas with her family standing in front of the run-down shite hole Tropicana almost year. If we've still got this year's, I will post it.

What cities would you consider to be underrated? Just curious.
