To make a long story short, recently did some business in Mexico and El Salvador, the guy on the other end was happy with how smooth things went and the quality of products that were given, before we left he handed me a box of theese.

I don't smoke cigars, or even cigarettes. I don't know much about them, was wondering if the OT had any input on if they are quality or not.

Always good to post contraband pics on the internet

ETA: forgot, that ban is over. They'll be better than black n milds and swisher sweets for sure

Try one with good cognac.

Don't light it immediately, taste the leaf.

(In before "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." reference)

I don't think they are illegal. You can get R&J anywhere.

Seriously, if those are authentic--and it's hard to tell just from looking at that pic, they are wonderful cigars. If you're not a cigar guy, I'd give some to your friends who are (like me)--they'd (I'd) really appreciate them.

From the look of the band they are legit or way too good fakes. They are not the best Romeo's but they are a great cigar for beginners. Should have a sweet and creamy flavor. I usually prefer scotch, but this is a good bourbon stick.

Do not light with a zippo. Remove the cedar wrapping, light said wrapping, and use that to light the stick. Even if you aren't a smoker, give one a whirl. Oh, and a suggest a V cut.

I'll probably just give them out to friends and family TBH, I figured I'd let the OT have an opinion when I showed them to my uncle, he looked them over and grabbed a handfull out the box with a smile.

You don't smoke cigars if you say that.

Good mild to medium smoke. Need to get them in a humidor before they dry out.

I use different cuts/punches, but that cigar will shine when you use a V cut.

If you don't have them in a humidifier they will be worthless in a few days. Take them to your local cigar shop and ask if they will store or try to sell em to them before they go bad

It's pretty simple to set up a tuppadore or something similar. Plenty of google info.
