I have a pile of them in both kidneys. Mine are small but still hurt like a mutha when the decided to come out.
I think you need to find out what kind they are and change your lifestyle around that.
My urologist put me on the the no red meat diet but a nutritionists told me that was bullshite and my family physician told me the same thing. My family doc told me to drink plenty of water. A person with kidney stones should drink a gallon a day. It doesn’t sound like that much water but when you start tracking it you would be surprised how little you drink in a day.

Yeah, it could be. My recurance has been reduced significantly. But, I've got two sitting dormant, not increasing in size, that my urologist wants to leave alone unless something dramatic happens. I try to forget I'm going around with a time bomb in my kidney. I'll probably let him blast them in a month or so.
