Chipotle rethinking firing manager over dine and dash concerns

So a group of young black men filmed a visit to Chipotle and posted it claiming racial profiling when they were asked to show they had money to pay before ordering. Chipotle fired the manager because they are the dregs of the corporate world.
Now it comes out that these fine young men have indeed taken food without paying for it and even joked about it on Twitter.
Congrats to the media on continuing to embolden deplorable behavior by implying racism for everything.

This is why we kneel.

In one video clip, the manager smiles and tries to ignore the men while they produce what appears to be cash, as proof that they can pay for their food. One of the employees visible in the kitchen is black.
This part made me laugh out loud.

You pay before eating at every Chipotle I've ever been to

I think it was they wanted them to pay before even starting to make it. Usually you go through the assembly line and then pay. These guys were apparently grabbing their made food and running off.

Yea I don’t understand how that happened. The food is already made and everybody pays first

Media loves minority criminals more than white law-abiding citizens.

If they steal the food, can they still sue Chipotle after the food makes them sick?

More than likely he already has one

Why am I not surprised. They knew that they could race bait and get away with it

But is that racism or protecting yourself. When I was working to pay for college I waited tables and had to pay for tables that skipped out. How I protect my money is my business right?
I’m willing to bet the race of the ones that skipped the checks was disproportionate by a large margin.

Damn. Never knew the server got stuck with the bill. That's fricked up.

How the frick do you pay for something before ordering? If they don't have any idea what you are going to order, they would also have no idea how much to charge, right?

I’d presume they wanted them to tell them what they wanted i.e. burrito or burrito bowl and pay before making the order instead of going down the line and making the entire burrito to their liking before paying.

That doesnt happen everywhere. I would've laughed in the manager's face and found another job if this was the case at the establishments I worked at.

I managed a small restaurant in a hotel. We wouldnt do that to a server. But servers also get screwed when people dont tip.
The register records their sales and assumes they get a certain percentage amount of tips. So they have to report their sales and are taxed on the tips they are expected to have gotten.
Due to past experiences for years, certain groups were charged a mandatory gratuity because they had shown in the past that they would not tip. (This was a hotel where lots of events happened).
So when the southern baptists, essense fest, certain family reunions, etc and other such notorious non-tippers were in town, we just added the tip as a mandatory charge.

It's amazing how many people in this thread seem unwilling to read an article to understand what happened.

You sound like the guy who made a thread yesterday saying that you technically didn’t “have” to go for 2 in the 3rd OT because you could line up and kick it while getting 0 points if you split the uprights.
I edited anyway.
