We can fight about Cubs vs. Sox and the culture all you want, but I don't think it would be prudent for this particular thread

Damn, so the best food bars and baseball are in the most dangerous area?
I pray for you when you’re down there. Hopefully this can get cleaned up ASAP!

What does it say for you that you lack the intellectual capacity to match wits with an uncoordinated blind person?

Why don’t you just decide if you want to donate it or not based on my race? That’s how you make decisions about a person’s learning capabilities already, seems like an easy step.

Being able to buy groceries without the government paying for a portion of them isn't a frilly life. 50 years ago a 20 year old could work a minimum wage job part time during school and full time in the summer and pay for his school and rent. That's an objectively better thing for society than that same person getting in crippling debt during school leading to waiting longer for home ownership, opening their own business, having children, etc.

My question is simply who is absorbing all of these costs? Because if you think a corporation like Chipotle is taking it on the chin, you’re wrong. That’s the point of the OP.

Companies will either buy less labor or raise prices. They will not come from CEO profits like the left wingers think. In the end, someone will be unemployed or prices will rise.

I dunno, the fact that their local economies have exploded and industry are flooding there are great indicators of the fact that I'd say they're doing well.

And Nashville is exploding in popularity right now for people migrating there.

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc (CMG.N) said on Tuesday it has increased prices for products across its menu by about 4% owing to rising labor costs

Lies.

I was told by very reputable liberals that any extra costs would be absorbed by the greedy corporations, not passed on to the consumer.

This isnt right. We need congressional commissions to study why this is happening!!!!

I know, but hasn’t it been reported that crime has risen there?

What’s ridiculous about a company increasing price as it takes on more costs?

Why do you keep repeating this? YTD for both the Dow and S&P is up over 14%. Even if you are fully invested in utilities (the YTD worst performing sector) you still would be up close to 8% up on average.

Your hyperbole is hyperbolic.

The market is being held afloat at the moment by people spending and investing money that didn’t exist 2 years ago. When everything catches up and real inflation comes about, it’s going to be ugly.
