re: China released the Coronavirus on purpose

I don't think they did it intentionally nor is this some kind of a bio-weapon. I think their incompetence caused it. The Chinese flu probably originated from the nearby Wuhan Institute of Virology and got into their markets somehow. Safety levels were not adequate.
Theories.
“Despite its reputation for high security, there have been unverified local reports that workers at the institute became infected after being sprayed by blood, and then carried the infection into the local population.”
Wasn't made in a lab.
But China right now is not giving any evidence on how it got released and their silence and duplicity increase the rumor theories.
So, I say frick China. Close off travel and trade. Gear up American manufacturing and services to replace what we trade with them. Let 'em flounder in all their Covid's.

OP doesn't realize Trump could have stopped this early on but chose to go golfing instead. Don't blame China for your administrations failure during a crisis

Doesn't matter if they manufactured it or not. We know for a FACT they covered up its existence for far too long. We also know they are lying about their number of infected to this day.
There's no doubt in my mind they are happy it infected Europe and the USA and brought our economies to a halt.
And for that they should pay (but they won't because we're weak).

Have you not been paying attention? Trump made China bend the economic knee over the trade deal and they’ve been artificially propping up their currency for the last two years. That can’t go on forever, socialism or not. There were major protests going on all over the country, especially in Hong Kong.
Whether they released it on purpose or took advantage of it once it got out, China deserves 100% of the blame for this.
What I truly hope for is a global turn away from China as a manufacturing base, especially if some of that returns to the good old US of A. All it will take is one company. And with the state of the economy hopefully we can stave off union bullshite.
