Well "idiot", you're trying to create an argument that no one in this thread said.
Just like Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, etc, there is more to a war than just gaining land and raising body counts. Learn from the past
I'd rather keep up the airstrikes and keep the troops off the ground, outside of special ops

Well Genius, you should know from your buddy Obama that we are not at war. Anyone said anything about troops on the ground? Pretty sure Racca would be glass and they wouldn't have videos of 3 mile long parades if we were really trying to defeat an enemy, which is what War is. Learn from the past, you don't go into war half arse. Go in, defeat the enemy and leave or DON'T GO. We have been there for years flying around without attacking them. All of a sudden they found some oil trucks on Tuesday after the Paris attacks.
