Good kid.

$10k is definite turn it in money. You find a $20, lucky you. $10K, turn it in. No good will come from keeping it.

I think $100 is probably the line.

Not 10 grand . Someone’s gonna come looking for that. Either legit money will get police involved, or criminals will come looking for their cash.

When I worked at Wal-Mart years ago, one of our cart pushers found $8K in one of those planners left in a buggy far away from the store. He turned it in to his manager and they called the guy. He came back, parked his Mercedes in the fire lane in front of the store, hustled in and got his planner. The manager pointed out the employee that turned it in and he said "Huh....I guess you guys aren't low life's after all" and promptly walked out.

Posters will commend this young man for his character but would definitely take the money for themselves if they found themselves in a similar situation.

Not me ...I fear the karma police and they will always come for you.

"This is what you get, when you mess with us"

Plus if I had lost that money I would want some one to turn it in too.

Cultcha is mostly thievery. Arkansas lady was mistakenly paid $1,650/hr for a 12 hour day vs the $16.50 she was supposed to be paid.

Sounds like someone has a shitty audit process. Payroll or HR should be doing compares and should've identified this as a potential problem.
