Portillos is pretty cool. Gotta go to Billy goat tavern (original one) too. It's right under Michigan Ave near the Chicago river

Friday night, come to Wrigleyville.

Murphys Bleachers is doing a Chicago Reddit forum Christmas party for all comers. $20 all you can drink beer/well/wine and karaoke from 9-12.

After that, I recommend Sluggers, Old Crow, Wagon Wheel, Beer, Blokes and Birds in no order. Fun bars. Hot broads.

In the city, check out Bub City for some good whiskey and BBQ. And behind there is a hidden speakeasy tiki bar called Three Dots and a Dash. One of GQs top 50 bars in the world and a great time. You and your friends go in on a treasure chest.

Lots of people rave about Chicago style pizza and Giordanos would be at top of list for me there. But I recommend going to Fullerton/DePaul stop on Red Line and walking to Homeslice. Sit in heated patio, great food. Afterwards some kickass bars across street and next door. Get an uber or walk from there to Headquarters Beercade and play arcade games and get housed. Gold times.

I agree with Knocksville about Giordno's, make sure you get the classic deep dish though!

The bar at the top of the Hancock building has ridiculous views of the city and Lake Michigan.
The flagship Macy's in the loop (NOT the one on the mag mile) is 7 stories and they go all out with their Christmas decorations.
Check out the Christkindl Mart in Daley Plaza, largest market of its kind outside of europe LINK
Science and Industry Museum
The Bean
Revolution Brewery
Wrigleyville has some great going out bars, but if it's not a Cubs game day it tends to attract the just out of college crowd.

If yall want to pregame, there are several bars such as The Scout, Krolls, Wabash Tap, Vice Brewery that are right off the Roosevelt CTA stop and about half a mile from Solider. I live in that neighborhood and we get a lot of Bears fans on game day.

I'm a saints fan living in Chicago and will be headed to the game as well

Truth, but they also have a dress code as I recall, fyi.

Also, don't waste a second of your time on the Navy Pier.

Check out the skyline of the city at the Planetarium at night. It's frickin beautiful.

Ride the Brown Line of the "L" (Elevated Train) towards downtown.
