I called this a bad shoot earlier (first post on page 4).
The additional videos and timing definitely makes it much more justifiable from the cop's perspective.
The 21 year old should be charged with felony murder.

I agree. I was just wondering how I missed that.
It appears the kid tried to make a slick move and that actually backfired. I think what the cop saw was the gun coming out of the pocket and a quick turn

I stand corrected. Kid definitely put that cop in a really bad spot there.

This has everything to do with the fact that he’s not black. There’s no collective group of people to be outraged. This video/evidence isn’t any worse or better than the kid who tried to fight the cops in his car, Michael brown, breonna Taylor, etc.

I have lived next to the chicago police academy for 20yrs. I have watched every class graduate from training, they get peppered sprayed, conduct high speed chase sinerious and active shooter responses.
To say they are not trained is a falaci. Underpaid (yes),underappreciated (yup), out manned (of course), but some how every Saturday there is a line out the door with recruits trying to sign up.
I'm not going to comment on the shooting and will ask around, but God bless those bastards for what they do everyday, not a job I would want and thats why appreciate their service even more.
