I was never a fan. I thought his schtick of poking holes in the logic of 19 year old kids was pretty low hanging fruit, but he was mostly harmless. He was a charismatic guy that had the potential to grow into something very good and positive.
Nothing he did or said warranted his death, and I cannot wrap my mind around how anyone could think that a guy under a tailgating tent talking to people was worth killing -- like he was the threat. I understand targeting Trump or Elon or other powerful people, but Charlie was just...a guy with a microphone under a tent.

The latest news leak just kind of casually mentioned that they released the guy they had in custody who was the suspected shooter
