This isn’t cancel culture. This is a simple boycott of a product. No one is threatening grocers and distributors for selling the product. No one gives a shite, they’re just no longer buying it. And don’t want to be associated with it.
Not buying a product is just as much a part of capitalism as buying the product is. It’s not cancel culture.
The bud light shite went way beyond trans on a can. It was the marketing dept also shitting on and directly insulting their consumer base. That’s bad bad bad bad business. Not cancel culture.

That’s not at all what pissed people off. That was just the beginning of the avalanche.
How the company handled it afterwards is what really pissed people off and I think why the boycott is sticking.
Had AB come out afterwards, acknowledged their mistake and what their intentions were I think it would’ve floated on by, but they didn’t. They doubled and tripled down on it.
