Except when it comes to chain restaurants. Central will burn a local establishment to the ground if it means we'll get a Chili's in its place.

Yea I dont get that man..We didnt support Mike Anderson's and so they left when it flooded. But Central supports the frick out of Sammy's. That is local right?

Every time I drive by the new Waffle House it is PACKED..Dont get that either..Maybe just bc it is new.

I will tell ya a new place that I enjoy going to that is local..that is "The Town" donut shop they opened on Hooper. Great donuts and breakfast stuff in there and pretty cheap. I like having a good joint like that and hope it does well.

you expect anyone to deduce from your one sentence comment that you were referring to the interstate?

Well, it was pretty fricking obvious.

Or was that more sarcasm?

Four Seasons or a St. Regis property, I'm guessing.

A hotel on Hooper near Lovett would actually do fairly well. There is a large BREC park there for baseball/softball tournaments. It's just down the road from the airport. It would be a good place to stay for LSU football games. Throw in some decent sized meeting space and it could probably do quite well.

I spoke to Ivanka a couple of days ago and she said it's going to be a two-story Trump Tower.

Zachary is close to Hwy 61 and there are Plants close salesmen and contractors might go to.

Denham Springs is on 1-12

Central is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by ghetto or nothing, with no large enough businesses to have people using a hotel. Nice place to live but hotel would be pointless.

If a developer wants to put up a hotel on the highway there( Greenwell Springs at Sullivan), I can't see a problem.

Now I wouldn't give the guy any incentives, but I think that would be s plus. He wouldn't be messing up any neighborhoods and he wouldn't be putting his own money at risk if he didn't see a demand.

Central hoping to build a hotel within 2 years...Or as soon as Stark Vegas' motel starts showing a profit.

Turn Greenwell Springs Hospital grounds into an All-Inclusive Spa Resort with access to the river.

Overpriced so that people from central can feel like they are ballers. Beautiful business plan actually
