They don't use public transportation because our public transportation system is awful. It's slow, unreliable, and unfathomably corrupt. Nearly every past CEO and board member has been caught stealing in some way, shape, or form.

It's so bad and inconsistent, that the only reason anyone in their right mind would ever use it is because:
1. They have no other f$&king choice
2. To avoid a DUI
3. Because there's not enough parking near campus for LSU sporting events.

The household I grew up in:

1. Property tax hikes should be for those they impact (aka, I don't have a kid, I don't care about schools, pay no tax, don't vote)

2. You don't own property, you get no vote

It would never work but is fair. You use the bus, pay for it. Oh, wait.

Well isn't that something. We are staying at the Belle this year for the first time. Oh well, only coming for 3 games so I guess we'll just taxi/Uber whatever.
