St. Aloysius will always be a great school because the parents of the kids who go there won't let it go down. John Bennett is a once in a lifetime principal no doubt. Having said that, it was a great school before he got there and will be great after he retires.

Grew up at St Aloysius, literally, at the house next to back parking lot at Mimosa & Carl. Graduated 8th grade in '68......Mom was parish & school secretary.....was always a great school & continued to be......agreee with you 100%

STM FTW.... Haha I'm just biased cuz I went there. All the SAS kids were wussies. Either of those schools will be fine although I have migrated to south BR. In 10 yrs my kids will probably go to st George or st Jude. The geography of BR has changed a lot. Like everyone else has mentioned, end game is CHS/SJA and once they get there it doesn't matter much where they came from. Good luck.

No, there are like 6 or 7 main feeder schools

st George, SAS, and STM tend to send about the same amount, or at least that was the case when I went through.

My kids are at Mercy and we couldn't be happier. The administration is top notch and have made drastic improvements in their short time there already.

Same here. I am very happy with OLOM.

I went the SHS to CHS route. The only draw back is that it's smaller, which for some may be exactly what is wanted.

John Bennett is retiring so that place is going to start going downhill quickly without him. Proud St. Al grad here, so I hope I'm wrong. But he made that place what it is today.

He hand picked his replacement and they have been working hand in hand for 5 years now. Aloysius will be fine.
