As someone who graduated from Catholic well after the Warrick hype had dissipated and the only one who spoke about him a lot was Wiener, I find it surprising how little he does for the school at least from the public's point of view. He spoke to us a few times, but that new athletic center is named after some random dude. Warrick is a great guy, I'm just surprised he is not more involved.

People have their reasons. I don't donate money to the school because they rejected my brother's application on account of the fact he attended a public school. His test scores were perfectly fine and his older brother (me) was one of their prized national merit semifinalists they always liked to brag about - and I came from a public school - but their official policy had changed and while legacy admissions were definitely still a thing they apparently don't apply to public school scum anymore.

Its not like the school is some struggling charity, anyway, what do you want from him?

We know Warrick was the man. Loved his mom and took care of her, etc.

He ran around me 14 times in one game. Then he let Franklin run over me(Okay for a 2 yard gain) and he helped me up after the play. Good guy.

Teachers are frickin stupid sometimes. The older I get the more I realize how stupid many of mine were.

As I look back, about half of the teachers I thought were great I now realize were children at best and morons at worst - about half of the teachers I fricking hated with a passion I now realize were the best teachers I ever had.

The other half of each I was right about the first time.

He did party and had gotten in trouble with that before, but the last straw that got him expelled had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. It didn't involve fricking animals or bringing a gun to school or anything fricked up like that, so don't get your imagination running.

I said I was afraid you'd ask because I do have inside knowledge of what happened, but I'm not going to share it. He's a stand up guy and what he did wasn't really a big deal for a high school kid to do.
