To be honest, I find cruises to be too structured for my likings when it comes to vacationing. I don't want any pressure or a schedule at all when vacationing.

We had a NCL cruise for late April. Unfortunately, they offered cancellations with a credit when states started shutting down. So we cancelled and got a credit. Then they started outright cancelling cruises and giving refunds. We were like.... ummm can we have our money? And of course they balked.
The shite of this situation is we paid for 2 of our kid's friends to come. Now instead of giving the person who paid for it all (me) the credit, it's in each person's name. So I paid for 2 kids and they have a credit now who probably won't go cruising. They'll probably go bankrupt before we see a penny of our $5k.
