Odd considering the comparison in, for just one example, school performance metrics in those "inbreed [sic] redneck" parts. I think perhaps the primary source of ignorance may come from the urban cultures found in Nola, BR and Shreveport.
While there certainly are the redneck populations, which IMO are almost as bad as the urban thug populations if not equally so, the bulk of the state population is good ole middle to upper middle class (of all colors).

Actually yes, there are plenty. Look up the stats if you want.
I'm not defending Nola crime, it's terrible, but so are many cities. That doesn't make it OK. Nola obviously gets shite on alot more on this board because it's LA based, but Baton Rouge isn't far off either.
