I’d keep grinding where you are at. Working 8-430 sucks. Can’t get anything done during the week. And the cost of living may go up for you on a lesser salary. Stay where you are a few more years. Retire from there then pick you up a part time job somewhere something the hours you want.

1. Do you get a pension with the Government job?? Is so that is a HUGE plus.
2. If you believe, like many do that the World is heading for a large painful recession/depression then which job is most likely not to Lay anyone off. I would think the Govt job would be more stable.
