I tried to break up a house cat fight before by kicking them... 
One of them latched onto my foot like a gotdamn bear trap. Sunk his teeth into one of those big tendons on the front of the ankle and I like to have never got the damn thing off. Man did that sting!

I would not want to fight for my life against that. If you tried to strangle it, you better hope you pin its paws in some way or it will seriously mess you up (how you going to pin 4 paws? Ever messed with a house cat's belly? They get those back paws involved and they're vicious).
You would need to seek medical help very quickly assuming you actually killed it because you would die soon from blood loss and I imagine you'd need plastic surgery on your face.

Reading comprehension is not your forte I suppose. There is no realistic scenario where a bobcat would fight you to the death ine the open or much less attack a grown man for anything other than self defense.
Ive maintened this entire thread that it would have to be a cagematch scenario where neither party could run.
Could I find a bobcat in the wild, catch it, and kill it with my bare hands...the possibility of me even catching one would be almost zero

Let's just call it here. Probably just a perspective thing. In my experience, making assumptions about yourself or you're opponent in a combat scenario is never a good thing. Making assumptions about an opponent with four fangs, and 20 needle sharp claws is idiotic. My opinion, of course.
