I want car companies to bring back the vented window. You get fresh air, have a spot to throw my smokes out and the dog likes to stick his snout in there.

I have a buddy with a boat that has vents on the windshield. Those things are money in August.

It's swisher sweets so no worries.

I would also like the hood ornament returned to it's rightful place in society.

I'm assuming you're talking about these things?

Nothing like trying to operate that thing in a standard with a cigarette while driving through town. I'm surprised more cars didn't burn to the ground while driving.

That shite was easy with enough practice. By senior year I could do all of that and roll a blunt at the same time.

I'm sorry that nobody has ever let you in on this, but the big window goes down.

As did I. They were much more effective than the A/C by the time I was able to drive the damn thing.

That Bronco had a stick shift that was not connected properly to the gear box I assume because sometimes when you shifted down to 2nd gear with any force it would pull completely out of the floor and you'd be driving with the entire shift stick waving freely about the cabin. That was always fun.

My dad would joke that it was his anti-theft strategy because you could just pull the stick out and take it with you into the store if you wanted.

Yea they were great.

Till someone busted mine out, Stole my 1984 F-150 with my 30-30 in the back. Then shot a shot a Trooper in Mississippi while driving it.(never found out if he used my rifle, but didn't ask either) Then he ran that thing off in the Tickfaw river at Springfield. All that an I still think the Springfield police were bigger crooks than the guy who stole my truck.

Spoken like a kid who doesn't know the gloriousness of the vented window.
