It's not that I didn't know it was going to happen, I simply didn't care. I'm just confirming that vehicles are coming equipped with brighter lights from the factory than they used too.

Yeah, never understood why police think they need lights that are so bright and they know such bright lights compromise night vision of all the drivers around. Yet they want to ticket people for various lighting issues or blinkers or whatever. It doesn't make any sense. If anything, LE vehicles should be set to the perfect levels so other see what right looks like and can do a common sense check: hey my lights look drastically different from a police car, maybe they're jacked up.
I guess if LE can be a safety hazard, then no one else should be worried about being one either.
