I have been shopping for my first truck and have been to a lot of local dealers. Shockingly it has been a pleasant experience and completely opposite of the past experiences.
Absolutely no pressure and the sales reps have been very helpful.
Only negative was one guy telling me he could cancel my current car loan. I looked at him and said "you mean you can roll it over into my new loan right". He just grinned.
