Yep, same for the steel "Sidewalk Skates" I got every year for Christmas. No knee pads, elbow pads, helmet----falling down and getting a bit of road rash taught you to do better at skating so you didn't fall down.

How about kids chemistry sets that you could combine stuff to make caustic solutions in real glass test tubes. Or putting dry ice in a Mason jar with a little water and screwing on the lid---------BOOM---glass shards flying through the air.....

I happen to have a couple of pouches in my drawer right now. I came across it at some dollar store once and bought them u

I bought a couple of packs a few years ago before a softball game. The gum is delicious for about 6 minutes and then loses all flavor and gets way to squishy.

Loved getting the candy cigarets and cigar gum when I was a kid.
Imagine all of the panties in a wad if they started making them today.

Candy cigarettes could be sharpened into a weapon simply by twirling one around your mouth.

Popsicle and fudgesycle sticks make great shanks too.

When I was in 2nd grade, this was 1977, K-Mart sold these toy M-16s….

A few of us had them and got the idea to bring them to school to play war during play period. It was a blast. Within a few days more boys got their own toy M16s and brought them to join in. Within a week or two we had just about every boy in 2nd grade playing war during play period. The girls even got involved playing medics and nurses to treat the wounded. It was awesome. Teachers never said a word about it. That was back when kids could still be kids.
