Oh yea. The dozen or so black guys that I'm friends with and respect doesn't make up for the way I feel about the majority. Hell, they feel the same way about their own ppl!

My best friend is black along with some of my other best friend's...
I have Asian friend's and Latino friend's and middle Eastern friends... Friend's of every walk of life...
And yet I'm still racist, we all are in some way or another..
I just wanted to clarify that when I have Asian friend's I mean, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, south Asian/Philippians, not Eskimos frick Eskimos.. damn drunks

Well considering black people can be racist against other black people b/c they are a lighter or darker shade of black, I don't see why not.

Don't know what one has to do with the other. You can have a friend and at the same time feel superior to them because you feel your race is superior to theirs.

It's like this board is a make-believe world. The people I hang around don't harp about race at all. It's only when I visit this board do I learn how tough a time people are having with race in this country.

I've been told several times that my group of friends is either the most or least racist people on the planet. We make jokes about our different races all the time, but could honest care less that we are of different races. Until it's time to call some one a black a-hole or the white devil.

I have several black friends.
Several.
However I despise ghetto/ rap/Ebonics culture and personally don't believe in interracial dating/marriage (for my family) others can do whatever their heart desires.
Same way I feel about homosexuality.
It's just not for me and mine.
So sue me or call me racist/homophobe I suppose.
FWiW every white person I know pretty much feels the same exact way.
I would imagine tons of posters here agree. If you have the guts or desire to admit it is a separate issue.
