I didn't assume your race. I got that from others who have mentioned in other threads that you are black. I got it from them and assumed they knew.

Everytime we have a thread about some crazy trashy white person from Florida I see "cultcha" "dindu" etc... It is not limited to only threads about black people.

You may comment just to kind of make your presence known to try to show that you aren't biased. You might give a half-hearted condemnation. But that's only in threads where there is absolutely no way to justify the behavior of the black person in the story. Your posting in those threads are politically calculated posts. Not real outrage or concern.

Your first thought upon reading one of those stories is something along the lines of "shite, this doesn't look good for my cause". And that's why you're full of shite.

The thing you fail to realize is that dindu didn't just come out of thin air. Stereotypes have some sort of legitimacy. The phrase comes from multiple news reporters interviewing family members of black suspects. A large amount of these family members tend to respond that the suspect is a good person and try to assure the public that he didn't do anything but it usually sounds like this "dindu nuffin". Reporters don't typically interview white suspect's family members and when they do you don't typically hear this type of rhetoric. If there was some catchphrase that white criminals' family members uttered every time they were interviewed this board would more than likely call white suspects that name. It's not being racist, people on this board are not attempting to hold the black population down and stop them from excelling by calling black suspect's dindus.
