I think you’re a liar. There are two tribes that generate enough revenue to provide money to its members like you describe. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the Seminole Tribe. The Seminole’s require a blood quantum level of almost 80% to receive anything monetary from their businesses. This results in an extremely small number of people receiving anything. The EBCI also requires a certain blood quantum to be eligible for money from the tribe, and NO ONE has ever received $400,000 on their 18th birthday.

So which tribe are you claiming to be a member of, Senator Warren?

Football?!?!?!? I ain't callin the world's most popular sport that. I'm gonna invent a new sport and call it football, then gonna call your sport somethin else! This is 'Murica, you can get out if you don't like it!
The word 'soccer' was coined in England and used to be in common use there. We didn't just make it up.

The Real Reason Americans Call It 'Soccer' Is All England's Fault

Didn't he say it wasn't Louisiana based? There are quite a few tribes/reservations that are doing just fine around the country.

Not really. And certainly not to the level he is claiming by having the ability to provide its members with $400,000 on their 18th birthday.

He is full of shite.

Locally, work a little and depend on gubment. It's a really terrible way to survive.

They do have subsistent hunting and fishing rights though.

The younger generation is pretty worthless. Most live with their parents their entire life.

lol you think there are only 2 tribes that can generate millions through casinos? And not just those..other income from basically buying towns. Stores..malls..etc

it went into a trust every year for years before I could touch it.

Even small tribes in louisiana have those set up now where some will receive 6 figures in the future through the same process.

So think what you want

I mean..you think I was able to live the way I do on my own merit and talents? lol

According to Longmire, they live in squalor on the reservations and are blatantly racist towards white people. Though racist for pretty good reason, to be honest.

You’re full of shite and are greatly overstating the success of the majority of tribes. The two I mentioned are the only two with the ability to provide for its members like you’re claiming. While it is true that many tribal members do receive money on their 18th birthday, it is no where near the 440k you’re claiming.

Stop lying.

I've always heard the Ho Chunk's (formerly Winnebago's) do pretty well here in WI. Have multiple casino's.

Again, this is not typical and illustrates my point. Nice google search to link an article from the daily mail published in 2012

They’re not the richest tribe in America. Not even close.

I lived by probably the richest one and the get 1M a year as an adult, and bulk payments at 18, 21, 24 and 27.

I don't know if he is lying, but there are certainly places that can have that scenario play out.
