I have my LEDs where i can changed the proportions. the blues just come out so much more from a phone photo.
my next big purchase are Radions.

I'm getting a pulsing Xenia this weekend
Place carefully. Pulsing Xenia isn't bad, but Xenia in general can spread like weeds. Put it on a frag or small rock isolated from any other solid surface (other rockwork or walls) in the sandbed.
Scientists are starting to better understand why some pulse and some do not. The literature is pointing toward CO2 levels of the immediate surrounding waters. They are saying if you put it in a spot with stagnant flow they pulse, but area with good circulation there is no pulsing.
When I had a biocube I could confirm this. Normally it would just sway in the flow, but when I turned everything off to do a water change after a few minutes of being still they would start to pulse.

i have a xenia as wall. no where in my tank is stagnant. i have relitivly high flow for lps's. I want to get some sps's but i dont regulate my doseage close enough to try. and i dont have the funds to buy a doser right now.

Absolutely, but I live in Indiana, and that is one hell of a fricking drive. despite the size, I am actually very light on corals in my tank. mostly fish, inverts, and a few anemones.

Those frickers spread like rabbits. Keep an eye on them. They don't take much to take over a tank.

Grant it will take a few months, but I would take the previous advice. Isolate it. Don't let it jump to a wall or to a large group of live rock. It's one of the beginner corals for a reason and you don't want to be cutting it back every few weeks. I've considered getting it as well but concerned about it outgrowing my nano.
