Can anyone recommend a good, easy e-commerce site besides Shopify to use?

Shopify’s customer support has gone to shite. They used to have phone support by callback, but quit doing that without any notice. TIA, and happy Memorial Day weekend.

I've used BigCommerce, a smaller self-hosted cart, 3DCart and Shopify. Shopify is shoulders above the others. I don't think we've ever needed to reach out to support. What's the problem you're having?

If your site is built on WordPress you could look at WooCommerce.

And you'll need to secure it. I think Woo just came out with a hosted solution but I didn't look at Woo because of the security issues.

I've probably bought thousands of items from Amazon since 2009, I've never once needed to call anyone. I always wonder about these folks always calling customer service.

This isn’t about buying something online. It’s about running an e-commerce website.

For cheap, easy to install, and great customer usability it's hard to beat ECWID.
Beware that their true corporate ownership is in Russia.
ETA:
There are crazy hidden costs in changing your shopping cart, and back-end integration costs can kill you.
Look carefully before you leap.

I deal with many types of carts every day and Shopify is the best by far. It’s rare that I need something with customer service that I can’t just google a fix for. What is the issue you are having?

It’s my wife’s site. (I’m not posting pictures until this site lets me post the nudes.) She uses it for some of her paintings and wildlife pictures she has taken. Neither of us are very tech savvy.
Her site has gotten pretty jumbled up and she is wanting to change a lot. Whenever she had a problem in the past, she could set up a callback and get it taken care of pretty quickly.
About 2 months ago, whenever she tried to schedule a callback, that option was never available. For weeks she would send messages about it and they always said the queue was full. Finally the other day one of them admitted it wasn’t available anymore.
She’s the kind that if she’s paying for a service, she wants to be able to talk to someone if she can’t figure it out herself to solve the problem. Before this, she loved the Shopify format.

There isn’t a filter to stop this, you know.

It may be time to hire someone to help with Shopify in that case. As I said I find it to be extremely user friendly. As far as support goes I can't say. We used a developer when we first moved to Shopify but that was only because we had to move data over from another cart.

Switching to a different shopping cart is much more expensive and complicated than most business people can imagine.

The OP's chief complaint is customer service.
