Call Sen Bob Menendez. He'll hook you up.

I'll backup everyone else on Excellence.

Bonus points for being adults only.

I am a travel agent and book about 40-50 Dominican trips a year. I agree Excellence is a great choice but I would prefer to be on Bavaro beach than all the way out where Excellence is located. Check out Iberostar Grand Bavaro. Hard to beat it in Punta Cana and comes with butler service which is a very nice perk.

Was at majestic colonial a month ago and really enjoyed it. I would recommend the colonial club.
Excellence
Iberostar
Hard rock
Are all great choices
However like other people I would look for a place where you can do a little more outside the resort

Had a buddy stay at the Excellence resorts, and he highly recommended it.

I stayed at the Excellence in Cancun and had a top notch experience.

Try and book through Honeymoons Inc. if you can. It seriously will be several hundreds, if not a thousand, cheaper than anywhere else.
