Can a driver's license be taken away due to doctor signing off on

that person not being able to work due to a total and permanent disability?

This is a totally ignorant question, I get it...but how does this work?

I know in Alabama they can. My daughter has had hers revoked a few times do to an eye issue.

Basically a court order supported by a doctor's order and their license becomes revoked. Families file for this when an elderly parent keeps bouncing off of shite or getting lost on the way home from bingo.
