It wouldn't be CIA on US soil.
Most likely mercs working for DoD or NSA.

Jail, or was he just on the other side of the sign?
What I gathered is the guy filming is a UFO conspiracy guy that spends a lot of time riding around as close to the line as possible just waiting for things like this to happen.

Of course it would, depending on who was paying the bill for the program. The CIA spying in the US is where the problem lies. Paying for contract security, no problem.
A direct employee of the CIA does not work perimeter security. That is contracted.

My dad was stationed at Groom Lake for about a year.
He was reverse engineering Soviet Migs. The Soviet AF was defecting at such a high rate in the 80's, we may have had more Migs than the USSR did at one point.
But other than that, I don't know any more about Area 51 than anyone else on this board.
(most likely anyways).

Don't they have shoot on sight orders if you go too far into there?
They're lucky they used restraint

They don't play out there. We wandered too close to some part of the base while four wheeling as a kid. Saw them coming out after us and we took off.

Area 51 is serious business.
Ask george noory or art bell.
Don't know who those guys are, but does one of them post as TX Tiger?

I guess you could be right. I would think that someone in the CIA has visibility to the functions of Area 51. But oversite of a US Military base isn't really their thing.

I guess all the bases I was on were different.
Contracted gate guards had crappy police like uniforms and they would drive even crappier 2wd Tacoma's.
Video looked staged to me. That security wasn't acting like he was going to cuff the guy backing up to him.

I haven't seen the signs at 51, but I've seen the signs where I did TDY for 24 months and they clearly stated that deadly force would be used. At that location pre 9/11 it was DOD employees with .38s. After 9/11 it was two camo'ed guys at every entrance. One with an M16a2 and the other with a 12 gauge shotgun, I didn't ask who paid them, but I had an idea. BTW, they didn't frick around.
This wasn't a military base, btw.
I agree, it's plain stupid to trespass there. If a trespasser were to scratch their arse, they might end up dead.

Not sure what all bases you've been to. But yes, Lake Groom is most likely well different. It's not a place like Fort Knox that is visible from the interstate.
And yes, they can use deadly force. It is noted on the signs.

This is all I could think of watching that video.

I don't see them getting arrested at any point and time in that video.
Now, I'm sure they had a nice long talking to, but I'm highly doubting they were arrested.

The video looks like it might not be real. The real question is what is the government hiding out there?
