The Challenger is a Chrysler product. Reliability isn't in the cards.

I have been driving a Challenger for about 3-4 years and have not had one problem. It's a very comfortable and spacious on the inside with a decent amount of power when you need it.

They're certainly good looking cars. My daughter's kindergarten teacher had a Challenger with a Hemi and straight shift.

Chrysler's used to be awesome, popular in the West where someone could stretch out those big motors in big cars.

Not any more ...

Dodge is worse. Used to be a hot court reporter (no pix) in Shreveport who had access to a Viper. I asked her why she didn't drive it. Her reply "It usually doesn't start, and when it does, it doesn't run well."

Do you want a drag car, a track car, or a cushy car? How much do you want to put into it? Both have multiple trim levels, and some have ridiculous price points. Either could be a lot of fun, but resale sucks for either.

If I had to chose, I would say the Camaro SS package is very good bang for the buck. Drove one, fun, but the rear window is useless.

I own a 16 SS. Outside of one recall it has been very reliable and is faster than the other two muscle cars stock, outside of Hellcats, GT350, etc.

I don't own either of said cars, but curious to know what you would consider as a nicer car in this price range?

I'm looking at the camaro convertible. Also looking at the Audi S5 convertible. So, out if these two, I'd vote camaro.

My son just traded his Challenger in for a Camaro/ He likes the Camaro a lot better and I do too.
