I hate a-hole drivers myself. I would have been severely pissed off myself if it happened to me.
You did about the only thing you could do without risking the lives of others by chasing him.
I've got no problem with calling the Popo on a-hole dangerous drivers.

I had something like this happen to me a few years ago, only it was a bunch of kids who decided they would mess with me. Needless to say they were putting everyone around them in danger. I called 911 to let them know if the reckless behavior and gave them the location on the interstate. Never heard anything from it. I came close to pulling my .40 on them when one threw a cup at my car. Only reason I didn't was because I was laughing so hard at the fact the liquid splashed back at them.

I'm sure people have called the cops on my driving, but I've never been pulled over for it. Anyone can make up stories about anyone else without reason. Why would the cops waste their time on you?
You forgot to add in the OP that the person you were passing was going 79.7 and you took four miles to pass

I call *lsp on erratic drivers all the time.
They have a unit out in minutes.
