Oh please, expecting to receive something you paid for isn't expecting "white glove" treatment.
What OP saw is an example of victim mentality. They think it isn't fair for them to have to do what they're paid (probably $15 hr) to do.

Low pay attracts lesser quality employees. Those employees don't give a frick. Why is that hard to understand?

Can’t happen soon enough.
But then McDonald’s will get beat up in the media for being greedy, removing so many jobs, and losing the personal connection of smiling people as part of their service, which doesn’t exist anyway. The idea was floated a while back and they caught shite for even considering it.
McDonald’s lost any kind of happy allure that we grew up on many years ago. On one of my last visits a few years ago I was rudely pointed to a touch screen to enter my order after standing at the counter expecting to place an order with a person for nearly 10 minutes, and was later handed a bag of food accompanied by a blank stare. What a great experience. I don’t go anymore.
Machines would insure faster service, more accurate orders, and higher quality product. And it could be implemented very quickly, if they chose to do so.

In high school I worked at a McDonald's . I could go behind the counter and make that poor lady 6 quarter pounders with cheese, drop a basket of fries and have her order ready in 2:31 minutes.
Kids today don't want to work, they just want to look at tiktok on their phones all day.
I have not eaten a McDonald's hamburger in over 20 years, I would urge others to do the same.

Unfortunately it's always like that there I live in Grenada MS and it's the worst McDonald's I've ever been in we don't even go anymore because the wait is always outrageously long or they can't seem to get the order complete or correct. Unfortunately most of the time it's both of those things. I had to wait for over an hour one night to get an app order because they had given it away to someone else and everytime I would try and check on when it'd be ready I was told it was on the way to me.
