Waitresses at restaurants already got paid less than fast food......
Most places pay like $3 an hour for wait staff. They make it up on tips.
They will probably have to pay cooks $20/hr to keep them
There are also people that will work for less per hour just to not work fast food. Would you work fast food for a $3 raise over what u make now? I've never done it but everyone I know that has says it's the worst.
In cali most places were already paying over $20 an hour anyway.

So what? there is more people and therefore money moving around in California. This doesn't mean that anything is better in California. China has a high GDP and I don't see quality of life being touted there.
