You live in Lutcher, where you think your water comes from?
I know where my water comes from and I know it is treated to meet certain standards for consumption.
If you knew facts instead of spewing the first idiotic insult you could come up with, you would know that our source of water is not raw sewage, like the one California is proposing.
My tip to you: Research before you react, Dumbass!

You can replace the title with ISS: you will drink the piss and crap water
There’s a big difference between a highly engineered closed-loop system built for space orbit, and a California municipality. Brings a whole new meaning to their “brown out” problems.
Also, I can’t speak for other water systems, but Baton Rouge taps an ancient aquifer they probably consists of rain that fell thousands of years ago, not from the Mississippi.

Las Vegas Water from Lake Mead is sourced after sewage is treated at a plant and released into Lake Mead. This isnt that crazy.

when yall bitch about wastewater to potable it makes you look insanely unintelligent
this is a very sustainable solution and should be embraced
This. A well managed water treatment plant can handle this no problem.

Is it possible to synthesize water?

My apologies. I didn’t realize I was talking to a Lutcher scholar. But just for the record I did work at a waste treatment company once and the water that came out of their septic systems was most likely cleaner than what you have in your tap.
