Currently outfitting their boats with kevlar panels in case they have to work in New Orleans.

The majority are probably gearing up to help.

The other few are stretching to avoid pulled muscles that could result from weeks of straining to repeatedly pat themselves on the back. A small few are making sure they have enough electricity to keep phones charged for media interviews and self-aggrandizing FB posts.

Is this the thread where we bash people trying to help while we do nothing to help?

Not at all. Cajun Navy is usually brought up during hurricanes and I didn't see it mentioned - seemed relevant considering whats coming. Someone else brought up skimming donations.

Must be a hot button issues to get anchored.

I hope the ones that helped in Kingwood, TX during Harvey were able to get help getting their stuff fixed. We were rescued by Cajun Navy baws. On our way out on our rescue they just about took out several brick mailboxes that would have destroyed a lower unit. After the water went down, every brick mailbox and lots of submerged cars had prop damage.

Ever since they upgraded it to a hurricane I been in the screen shop making more t shirts and boat stickers

Listen up folks! If someone tries to save you and they don’t have officially licensed Cajun Navy (tm) gear and boat stickers don’t trust them! A lot of scammers come out during natural disasters
