There was a woman that ran the local community baseball field and little league here. Even way after her kids were all grown she was still running it even though it was a volunteer position. Everyone thought she was just a good person but she ran it like a dictator and the reason was is she had been using it as her personal piggy bank.

I have my suspicions that a brewery here in Birmingham is making a good bit of money off a street cat that they "adopted" that hangs around the brewery. It got hit by a car, and they started a go fund me for its surgery, which according to them costed $8,000+, which they easily raised, and then some. The injury is to one of the cats legs. And now they are selling shirts that say "I love Bucky."


I like Bucky, so I am glad that he's gotten the help he's needed, but I am weary of the entirety of their intentions. I've seen a lot of smoke as to what kind of people some of the people that work there are.
