I haven’t been there is years. Guess I’m not alone.
Belle is Baton Rouge is changing hands.

Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ:CZR) strikes a deal to sell Belle of Baton Rouge to CQ Holding Company, Inc.
Per the terms of the amended lease agreement with Gaming and Leisure Properties, Baton Rouge will be removed from the GLPI Master Lease, and the rent payments to GLPI will remain unchanged.
GLPI will retain ownership of the real estate of Belle of Baton Rouge.
The transaction is expected to close in the middle part of 2021 and is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

The two casino boats on that side serves a purpose. It keeps certain crowds (trashy people) away from L'auberge, which is really all that L'auberge has going for it.

The Belle of Baton Rouge/Argosy/Belle of Baton Rouge has been on a Death Watch for quite a while; it's the worst performing boat in the state and always has been.

I wish they had a better casino north of town. I have family in Zachary and I hate the long drive to lauberge.

The hotel and the atrium. Not saying either are nice but the ingredients are all there for someone to come in and do it right. Especially now that gaming is allowed on land. Really thought Caesar's would have invested in it and done this.
