Buying a family health insurance plan

Switching jobs and will prob end up buying insurance. Currently have a BCBS PPO plan through work for ~$500 a month for a family of 3:

Individual Deductible $350.00
Family Deductible $1,050.00
Copay $30
coinsurance 80%

Now i'll be stuck with some shitty HMO plan that's way overpriced? I see why everyone bitches about the marketplace, what a crock of shite rip-off.

Luckily that's why i'm switching. That and I'm starting to hate where I work and it's time to move to a different field. frick academia.

$500 may get you a 100% co-pay for the first $8000 then 80/20 after deductible. $75 office visits.
