Lexus RX350, it’s a luxury Toyota, the electronics will go out before the engine

I guess I may be wrong, but I considered a crossover any SUV looking vehicle that wasn’t a traditional body on frame SUV, but one built on a car chassis. So that’s why I used that term.

I see what you're saying, and I think a Highlander is a crossover. It just seems so big to me that it almost has the feel of a full size SUV. Then again, I see Ford Expeditions around that look like tanks, so I guess it is all relative.
Something like a RAV4 just has more of that crossover feel.

I got some sort of infiniti crossover as a rental a while back. The crossover really isn't my thing but seemed like a nice enough vehicle. of course I only drove it for 3 days.

And reliability is a luxury all its own.
Glad you pointed this out because there is nothing luxurious about any Toyota I've ever rode in.

I have a 2017 Murano and it's pretty freakin awesome. Worth checking out.

Both are definitely crossovers as they are both based on a front drive car or van chassis.
If you have any expectation of towing or even light off roading, you'll want to avoid them.

The 4Runner is an excellent vehicle and a real SUV. It's definitely not a fancy or luxurious vehicle though.
Older infotainment with a tiny touch screen, cheap hard plastic dash, etc. It might not even have adaptive cruise control or land keep assist.
